What information does Arintra Collect?
Information You Provide to Us:
We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us. For example, we may collect Personal Information such as your:
- organization name
- work email
- work phone number
You may also provide this information or other information to us by completing a separate form, submitting a request for information, subscribing to an email list, providing feedback, requesting information about conferences and tradeshows, or otherwise communicating with us through our website.
We may communicate with you if you’ve provided us the means to do so. For example, if you’ve given us your email address, we may send you emails regarding our service offerings or your use of the website. If you do not want to receive communications from us, please indicate your preference by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our emails.
Information Collected Automatically:
As is true of most other websites, our website collects certain information automatically and stores it in log files. The information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, browser type, operating system and other usage information about the use of our website. We have a legitimate interest in understanding how members, customers and potential customers use our website and so we use this information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs.
We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website, analyze trends, track visitor movements, and gather broad demographic information that assists us in identifying visitor preferences. This assists us with providing more relevant products and services, with communicating value to our sponsors and corporate members.
From time to time, Arintra receives personal information about individuals from third parties. Typically, information collected from third parties will include further details on your employer or industry. We may also collect your personal data from a third-party website (e.g., LinkedIn).
You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your device’s acceptance of cookies, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of our features. Please be aware that cookies placed by third parties may continue to track your activities online even after you have left our website, and those third parties may not honor “Do Not Track” requests you have set using your browser or device.
Sharing information with third parties
We do not sell personal information to anyone and do not share it with third parties except as set out in this section.
The personal information Arintra collects from you is stored in one or more databases hosted by third parties located in the United States. These third parties do not use or have access to your personal information for any purpose other than cloud storage and retrieval.
We do not otherwise reveal your personal data to non-Arintra persons or businesses for their independent use unless: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to comply with the law (for example, compelled by law enforcement to comply with a search warrant, subpoena, or court order), enforce an agreement we have with you, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or the rights, property or safety of our employees or others; (3) the information is provided to our agents, vendors or service providers who perform functions on our behalf; (4) to address emergencies or acts of God; or (5) to address disputes, claims, or to persons demonstrating legal authority to act on your behalf. We may also gather aggregated data about our services and website visitors and disclose the results of such aggregated (but not personally identifiable) information to our partners, service providers, advertisers, and/or other third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, Personal Information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.
Data Subject rights
You can always opt not to disclose information to us. However, please note that some information may be needed to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features.
If you wish to confirm that Arintra is processing your personal data, have access to or update the Personal Information Arintra may have about you, please contact us.
You may also request information about: the purpose of the processing; the categories of personal data concerned; who else outside Arintra might have received the data from Arintra; what the source of the information was (if you didn’t provide it directly to Arintra); and how long it will be stored. You have a right to correct (rectify) the record of your personal data maintained by Arintra if it is inaccurate. You may request that Arintra erase that data or cease processing it, subject to certain exceptions. You may also request that Arintra cease using your data. When technically feasible, Arintra will — at your request — provide your personal data to you.
Reasonable access to your personal data will be provided at no cost. If access cannot be provided within a reasonable time frame, Arintra will provide you with a date when the information will be provided. If for some reason access is denied, Arintra will provide an explanation as to why access has been denied.
When you update information, however, we may maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records and some information may remain in our records after your deletion of such information from your account. We may use any aggregated data derived from or incorporating your Personal Information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.
For questions or complaints concerning the processing of your personal data, you can email us at: email@example.com.
Under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents are entitled to contact us to prevent disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for such third parties’ direct marketing purposes; in order to submit such a request, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Data storage and retention
Your personal data is stored by Arintra on its servers, and on the servers of the cloud-based database management services that Arintra engages, located in the United States. We retain service data for the duration of the customer’s business relationship with us and for a period of time thereafter, to analyze the data for our own operations, and for historical and archiving purposes associated with our services. We retain prospect data until such time as it no longer has business value and is purged from our systems. All personal data that we control may be deleted upon verified request from individuals or their authorized agents. For more information on where and how long your personal data is stored, and for more information on your rights of erasure and portability, please contact us at: email@example.com.
We endeavor to protect the privacy of your account and other Personal Information we hold in our records, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit or receive personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to send any personal information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a child under 13 may have provided us with personal information, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
